HULA ON PBS
American Aloha: Hula beyond Hawai'i will be airing nationally on PBS on August 5th. See http://www.pbs.org/pov/pov2003/americanaloha/update.html for local air times and a description of the program, which focus on Hawaiians amd hula on the mainland.
UPCOMING WEST COAST EVENTS
August 2nd & 3rd is the Pacific Islanders' Cultural Association Aloha Festival in San Francisco. Sat & Sun from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Location: San Francisco Presidio Parade Grounds. I'll also have an informational booth at Hiva Nui's Lu'au and Ho'ike Celebration in Lodi on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at the Lodi Grape Frestival Grounds. Doors open at 4:00 with no-host cocktails at 4:00. Dinner is at 5:15 and the entertainment will start 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be $30.00. No tickets will be sold at door.
